PORTRAITS OF MY
NEW YORK FRIENDS,
Summer 2005.
I spent three weeks and two days in New York this past summer.
I tried to visit as many friends of mine as I could while also trying to visit most of my family. Since my East Meadow
friends were not able to pull together a barbecue this summer I was unable to visit everyone. My
apologies to the Slatterys, the Tierneys, the Keelers, the Murphys, the Wrigleys and anyone else
I did not have time to visit.
The following photographs represent my friends on different days and
on different visits throughout the three weeks.
Jeffrey Weber and I grew up in Queens, New York. Next year we will be
celebrating 50 years of friendship. He now lives in East Meadow.

Eddie Kearon and I became friends when I moved to Bellmore in 1963.
He now lives in North Babylon and works as a fire chief for the New York City Fire Department.
My friend Eddie's oldest son Bryan.

It's Roy and Gina Talin. It's hard to believe I met Roy 39 years
ago. Roy and Tom Mulvey were the first of the East Meadow friends I met.
