JEFF WEBER AND ME,
50 YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP September 1956 - 2006,

This is a school portrait of Jeff. It may be from first or second grade or even later.


I probably looked something like this when we became friends. I have no idea what year it's from.


Here we are outside of Our Lady of Snows in Glen Oaks, Queens.
Jeff and I just made our first holy communion. This photo is probably from 1958 or 1959.


This is the first photo I took of Jeff with my Kodak Brownie in April 1961. It's in front of my family garage on 263rd Street in Queens. We were nine years old.


Here's Jeff in my backyard on the same day as the previous photo. From left to right, it's Mark (a friend), my brothers Tom and Mike.


Here's Jeff with his mom Rosalie a few years later in my family backyard in Bellmore, New York.

I love this photo. It's Jeff with my cousins (left to right) Joe Ganci and Joe Gangi on Woodbine Street in Ridgewood, Queens. The date is unknown, but it's probably 1967.

Left to right, it's my friend Eddie Kearon, me, my brothers Steve, Tommy, Jeffrey holding my brother John and my brother Mike. My father took this photo. I would guess this was about 1969.

Now we jump ahead a few years. Here is Jeff with his wife Elaine in my family's kitchen in Bellmore, September 1992. Jeff and his family moved to East Meadow from Ozone Park around this time.

Jumping ahead again, from left to right, it's Elaine, Chris, Jeff and his daughter Erica in their East Meadow yard. It was Eric's 16th birthday, August 1998.

After all these years, we are still riding bicyles together. This photo is from August 2003, but we've been riding together since those early days in Queens, New York.

Jeff has been playing guitar and singing at church folk masses for many years. He currently plays at St. Briget's in Westbury. In the photo above Jeff does a special Christmas show with his band for the Knights of Columbus in North Bellmore on December 20, 2005. From left to right, it's Ann, Jeff and John.

To mark the occasion of 50 years of friendship, Jeff and I decided to take our Moms out to lunch. On August 10, 2006 we went to the Bellrose Diner near his Mom's house. Left to right, it's my mom Dorothy and Jeff's mom Rosalie.
